ABOUT THE FIRM

Kidder Wachter Architecture & Design was founded on May 1, 2005 as a partnership between Jeff Kidder AIA and Richard F. Wachter II Associate AIA. The partners share a common vision and philosophy about architectural design and its impact upon a community. This partnership is an expansion of Kidder Architects, a sole proprietorship that was founded on January 1, 2003.

Our firm has established itself as a leader in design due to the wide experience of our staff on a local and international level. We strive to maintain an attention to detail throughout the design process in order to produce buildings of exceptional quality and happy clients.

As natives of Erie County, both partners are committed to the Erie area and have chosen to focus on all types of projects within their community. These projects range from small to large existing buildings and new construction. The firm’s prior work includes residential and institutional design as well as urban planning and interiors. Kidder Wachter Architecture & Design desires to be more than simply designers of buildings, but designers of community through good architecture. For unique projects, Kidder Wachter Architecture & Design works with a network of specialists from around the country.
